Old, But Not So!

It's my first time to talk about clothes... Excited!

I am excited not because I can be a fashion guru for the first time but because I am sure friends will wonder why I posted this here... It's like digging my own grave! hahaha Six feet below the ground, sukat na sukat!   Now, I am getting more excited. If I can actually laugh at something about myself, why not share it to people who care about me. I assume you do since you are actually summoning all your patience to endure reading this. Bwahaha! Again, bwahahaha.

Taken few minutes before I started writing this!
Now lem'me make things clearer. I am going to show you the oldest piece in my closet. I have to show that I wore it in the past and so I chose an old pic which I should have burned into ashes.
I can still recall the joy I felt when my sister bought me a complete wardrobe for my Christmas party way back in 1994. (Tagal na nun!) My appreciation was overflowing though I doubted if I would have the guts to wear such expensive dress with blouse (to be worn underneath) and shoes! (Salamat, Ate Minnie!) Since I was so shy then, I chose to wear just the top and match it with jeans. Nobody seemed to notice my attire that time, but I didn't care... Here is that piece.
This is a Collezione collection. I suppose that this was very expensive. Will you please do the math? Bought in 1994 and now is 2010, how old is this blouse? See! Amazing! If we will apply depreciation here, the value is already negative. (hahaha

Anyway, I don't care if this is that old. Actually, I wore it during the Fashionissimo 2010 event. I even wear this in school and even in malls these days. Below is a picture taken in February 2010. I just want to make a point that I am still wearing the blouse.

Kristine and Doinks @ Sbarro... (Miss ko si Tin!)

Now, here is an old picture taken sometime in 1996 or 1997! I am not sure.

Di po ako inabot ng flash! hahaha NEGRITA!
I got this from my sister's photos in FB. The first time I saw this, I stared at it for a looonnng time. I asked myself over and over, "AKO BA TALAGA 'TO?" (hahaha) Anyway, look at the top I was wearing. SULEEEETTTT, DI BA

Am I still going to wear this? Oo naman! Walang pangilamanan! It's lifeylicious!

Phone or Phone Hunting?

I received feedback that my blog seems to metamorphose into food blog. I noticed that too. Well, it is a proof that most of us find comfort and happiness in food these days. No wonder food biz is in nowadays. This is not my topic here. (hehe) Before I could add another sentence about food, lem'me just proceed to my first December entry. (Opo. Disyembre na. Paskung-pasko na!)

Yesterday, I was into soliciting advices as to what phone my sister, Maan, and I are going to buy. I got Samsung Jet and Nokia C3 as top suggestions. Unfortunately, the affordable wifi phone Nokia C3 was eliminated out-rightly because my sister's co-workers have the same phone, only in different colors. She said if there's a green one, she might consider. Of course, there is none, so end of the story.

Samsung Jet is the next. I received great reviews about it. Knowing its price when it was launched, I was surprised to hear that it's available for ONLY Php 9,900. Unbelievable! This must be it. When we jumped from one store to another in SM Cyberzone, I learned that it is already phased out. Aww! Such a bad fate for such an awesome phone.

Now it's any mobile phone brand's ballgame. We also considered Sony Ericsson Elm. It's just 7,999. Sweet for a phone with great features. Its camera is 5mp. WOW! Grab the sale!

Then there was Omnia Pro. I used to dream of this one. Now it's just Php 9,990. This phone is for those in business field and my sister is an RN. (Poof!)

Fate led us to ....
One of the New Samsung Phones!
Oh So Lifeylicious... Wave everybody,
WAAAVVVEEEE!
I am so happy to be part of this. My time with my Sis was short but so lifeylicious. It's not just the phone... It's also time spent in phone hunting. Love yah, MAAN!

Life Defined

Before the end of this month, I think it's just proper for me to give you an idea of how my life is these days. I've been saying lifeylicious in almost (if not all, I am not sure) all of my entries and that perhaps make you think that I am livin la vida loca. ( Di naman po araw-araw! hehe)

Now that the world is in the brink of another war, people go gaga over multi-million 6/55 lotto jackpot, environmentalists left and right scream "wake up before it's to late, the Pope made a controversial statement about condom, ABS has filed a suit against Willie, more and more blood donors are found to be infected by HIV, earthquake has been taking place in different parts of the world, sink hole news seems no longer strange, Twitter declines Google offer, Ampatuan incident is a year old, plagiarism has reached even the supposed-epitome of integrity in the land, Filipinos express mixed feelings about Christmas holiday and more, I still keep on saying 'lifeylicious'!

Actually, lifeylicious has become my mantra. It helps me ignore the things which I cannot control. With all that is happening, sanity is a reliable weapon, an armor. I trust HIM. He will take care of the things I can't. I just have to do my part. He has shown me my purpose and it is where I should focus.

Because of this attitude, I have become conscious of many lifeylicious things around. I will not enumerate them here because I plan to share them to you one at a time. It's like eating your favorite food (like ice cream and cake), it won't be healthy if it is beyond your limit. It will just make you sick.

Right now, just like before I am learning. Learning is fun. Learning about life and living life can be both fun. Life is fun. It may be challenging at times, but it is still FUN! It's lifeylicious.
